Professor Xu Jian-ping Was Awarded CPSS Lifetime Fellowship Title

On November 9, 2025, the 28th Annual Conference of the China Power Supply Society (CPSS) was held in Shenzhen. During the conference, the CPSS officially announced the list of newly elected Fellows for 2025. Prof. Xu Jian-ping was awarded the Lifetime Fellowship title by the CPSS.
CPSS, established in 1983, is a national first-class legal entity registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, bringing together the top experts and innovative forces in the field of power electronics nationwide. As the highest honor conferred by the CPSS to its members, the title of Fellow is a lifetime honorary designation. The selection criteria are rigorous, requiring candidates to possess profound academic expertise in the discipline, achieve major technological breakthroughs, or demonstrate significant industry influence.
Prof. Xu has long been dedicated to fundamental and applied research on high-efficiency power conversion circuit topologies and control strategies. His work in modeling, analysis, control, and simulation of switching converters has yielded significant achievements. He has made outstanding contributions to the "industry-university-research" collaboration in developing high-efficiency, high-power power supply modules, earning awards such as the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award, Sichuan Province Science and Technology Progress Award, and China Power Supply Society Science and Technology Progress Award. Additionally, Prof. Xu has cultivated a group of excellent talents with both theoretical and practical capabilities for the power supply industry, making important contributions to the development of China's power supply sector.
